Outlook Connector Beta/Outlook/Live Hotmail

I'm having a similar problem, running XP, Office 2003, have msn mail acct.
which is now Live Hotmail server. Removed and reinstalled email acct. in
Outlook, removed Outlook Connector and installed beta version; still cannot
connect, getting message "The internet connection has been interupted. Please
try again later." Days "later" still doesn't connect. Can anyone help me?
