Outlook connector can't find Outlook 2007

When I try to installe the Outlook connector for Outlook for synchronising my
Live Calendar, the installer gives the error that it needs Office 2003 or
2007 in order to be installed. Tried reinstalling Outlook 2007 and even a
version 2003 but in all I get the same message.

I use Vista and all updates for Vista and Office have been applied.
Please help!

Is Outlook installed in the usual location (C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\....)?
