Outlook Connector connecting problem

Jason

I'm using Outlook Connector with my Office 2007 on two laptops. One is Vista
and one XP. I first used Connector fine with my hotmail account. However
after I recently start to sync this hotmail account in my Vista laptop, I
cannot receive emails on the XP laptop anymore.

The Vista Connector works fine but the XP one not anymore. The server status
says "signed in successfully", but Mail, Calendar and Contact are always
"connecting". My Outlook Connector Version 12.0.4518.1068.

How to solve the XP connector problem? I have uninstall/reinstall many times
already. No luck.

Thanks.

I have the same problem with the same constellation and posted it in the
german outlook forum. Hopefully we get a solution soon. :)

remove the hotmail account from tools, accounts and re-add it. Or try a new
outlook profile with just the hotmail acct in it.
FWIW, there are connection issues that came up over the last few days so it
might just be a transient error that will go away on its own.

I have OL connector 12.0.6237.1003

I am running into the same issue on XP. Haven't tried on Vista yet. All of a
sudden, send/receive e-mails doesn't work. The server status says signed in
successfully, but mail, calendar & contact are always in the "connecting"
state.

Deleting the hotmail account, and creating a new profile with just the
hotmail account didn't seem to work

How long has it been? The hotmail/live servers often stop working for a day
or two and magically fix themselves.

Last friday, it was working. Since yesterday, it has stopped working.
I can send e-mails, I see them on windows live website.
But no sync happens. I can't receive any new/existing e-mails (neither for
the hotmail account , nor for my corporate exchange account)

I have exactky the same problem with our windows live hotmail account and
OL2007/OL Connector. Have uninstalled everything, ran the latest OL patch,
deleted and reinstalled accounts, reinstalled the latest OL connector etc,
but am getting the following errors in the sync log for every one of our
hotmail folders:

"Error Synchronizing Folder
Error: 232b
Server Command: ADD
Server Id: 㘴䉅䔷㈷䈭ㅂⵃ㌴㈶㤭㥄ⵂã¸ã„㈷㠶㔶䅆
Folder Name: ___TO DO INBOX"

I had the same problem. To correct it I had to remove my hotmail account
from Outlook, uninstall Outlook Connector, then install the latest version of
Connector again. When I first opened Outlook again I set up the hotmail
account again (be careful to set it up as the Outlook Connector version). I
then had to restart Outlook. It also seems better to sign out of my hotmail
or any other MSN accounts first.
