Outlook Connector for the Outlook illiterate

I have no experience at all with Microsoft Outlook, and every time I try to
use it it drives me crazy! The only reason I need it is to act as a
middle-man for me to synchronize my Hotmail and Windows Mobile 6 Calendars
using Outlook Connector. If somebody could please give me step by step
instructions on, or a link to a site that does, how to do the following:

1. Basically remove all existing accounts from Outlook 2003
2. Create a new account using Outlook Connector solely for the purpose of
synchronizing Hotmail Calendar with Outlook

Every time I try to do this I either end up screwing something up or it
doesn't work. Since I have to use Outlook, I would like to do it correctly.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Version of Outlook? The tutorial at
http://www.slipstick.com/Tutorials/profile/profile.htm is specific to
outlook 2007 but the same basic steps work for all versions. You probably
won't need to use the existing pst - if you want to sync the hotmail
calendar to WM, set it as the default message store.

That did not seem to help me much. I think I need something that gives more
detail, and it may also be useful to have something that gives instructions
on how to completely remove any existing accounts on my machine so that I
know there is nothing interfering. Also, even though it did sound like it
would be irrelevant for everything they said in that article, it would
probably be good to have the instructions intended for Outlook 2003. I don't
want to sound like a complainer, I just want to be able to use my mobile
device for something useful. Thanks.

to delete profiles, go to Control panel, Mail, profiles - delete all
existing profiles.

what are you screwing up? You only need your email address and password to
configure the connector.

That would be a dream come true, unfortunately to the best of my knowledge I
can't do that. Here is a quote from the page you mentioned:

Synchronization with your Windows Live calendar is not supported.

I even called tech support today, and they claim (maybe they misunderstood
my question, although I think I stated it pretty clearly) that there is no
way to synchronize the new Live Calendar with Windows Mobile 6, whether you
use Outlook Connector or not. I find this hard to believe, but I have been
unable to get it to work myself. I have been able to get some stuff "synced"
(if you even want to consider that word appropriate), but dates and times
are off, even though all the timezones are the same, so it's pretty useless
to have an appointment from 6pm-8pm listed as being 1pm-3pm. So for the time
being I'm just going to keep everything as updated as possible in my Live
Calendar until they do come up with a way to synchronize correctly. I used
to be able to synchronize with little trouble before Live switched to the
new calendar, but now trying to synchronize is almost pointless, since I'd
have to go through and fix pretty much everything individually everytime
anyway. I (was) using 5 things from Microsoft for this:

Windows Live Calendar
Outlook
Outlook Connector
ActiveSync
Windows Mobile 6

They were willing to make something that installs directly on Windows Mobile
6 to bypass Outlook and synchronize your Windows Live Contacts (which is
that thing from the page you mentioned, and I do use that to synchronize my
contacts), so why won't they do the same thing for the calendar?
