Outlook Connector - Invalid Parameter Error

Hi,

I have had an email from Windows Live Messenger about the changes to how
Outlook pick up email from a Hotmail account and it tells you that you have
to download Connector in order to continue receiving email through Outlook
2007. I have successfully installed it on my laptop running XP but after I
installed it on my other pc with Vista I just keep getting the error message
"Could not complete the operation, one or more parameter values are not
valid" whenever I try to create a new email, do send/receive or go into
settings to make any changes to mailbox settings - any ideas ? thanks

find and delete these files:
extend.dat, outcmd.dat, frmcache.dat.

if that doesn't work, try a new profile.
