"Outlook Connector is available only to subscribers"

I have been using Outlook Connector for some time (~18 months) with both my
Hotmail and Live accounts. However, a few days ago it stopped working for
both and when I click on either Inbox in Outlook I get a dialog box stating
"Outlook Connector is available only to subscribers. Do you wish to
subscribe now?" with a Yes and a No button. Clicking either button does
nothing. This same message, "Outlook Connector is available only to
subscribers." appears in the server error detail.

I can still access both accounts through a browser. My Hotmail account is a
Hotmail Plus account and has been for years.

I have uninstalled and re-installed Outlook Connector a couple of times - no
change.

The only change that I made recently was installing the SkyDrive file upload
tool. I have removed it, but it has made no difference. Of course it's also
possible that some automatic Microsoft update fouled it up also.

These two accounts are very important and I store important messages from
them into an Outlook folder. I now have no access from getting messages from
those accounts to my outlook folder. I would much appreciate any help in
getting my Outlook Connector working again.

Try removing the acct and re-add it. Or if your system restore goes back
far enough, restore to before you installed skydrive. (I don't think its
related, but just in case it is...)
