This is driving me nuts.
I've been using the Outlook Connector with Office 2003 for a long time.
I just upgraded to Outlook 2007 (and have also done a clean install) and I
can't get it to work with O2007.
I've download the latest version from
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=7aad7e6a-931e-
438a-950c-5e9ea66322d4&displaylang=en.
It installs fine but when I add it to my profile it just tells me "The
email account you have just added will not start until you choose Exit from
the file menu..." instead of giving me the config window for the connector.
When I run Outlook I get: "The Add-in "Outlook Connector Extensions"
(msncon32.dll) cannot be loaded and has been disabled by Outlook. Please
contact the Add-in manufacture for an update..."
In Outlook the add-in appears as inactive in the Trust Center. If I try to
enable it nothing changes and it tells me it's not a valid Add-in.
