Outlook Connector no longer deletes Junk from the mail server

When using outllook connector, the junk email folder is not emptied on the
server when I empty the junk email. The folder is emptied in Outlook however
all the junk email remains on the server.
Anybody know how to resolve this?

I have found the same problem, but it also applies to the inbox - when I
delete a message in outlook it is not deleted in Windows Live Mail. Prior to
the outlook connector, I had my hotmail account hooked to my outlook 2003 and
deleting messages in outlook also deleted the messages in Windows Live Mail.
Now I have to sign in to Windows Live Mail to delete the messages which to me
defeats the whole purpose of having the connector in the first place.

Not a happy puppy here.

I dont have a problem with the inbox, it seams to synch just fine, as does
any other folders that i create in windows live mail. I have found that if I
delete the mail from the junk folder then empty the deleted items folder the
junk email is removed from the windows live email system, but not allways.
there still seams to be a synch issue.

I'm using Outlook 2003, which do you have ? Because I tried it again - I
deleted messages from the inbox in Outlook, then I went to Windows Live Mail,
and the messages that I had deleted in Outlook were still sitting in the
inbox on WL Mail.

Did you check immediately or wait a bit (or do a send/receive) ? Changes
don't sync immediately.

I am currently using Outlook 2007. I was using 2003 in the past but that was
when the connector synched OK. You do need to manualy perform a send and
recieve or wait for the automatic send and recieve before you will see the
changes in WL inbox.
