Outlook Connector PID

Microsoft says it provides no charge support for Outlook Connector. Yet, when
you try to send an email or chat thru MS Support it requires an Outlook
Connector PID. Since Outlook Connector is a download, there is no PID that I
can find.

Does anybody know how to find the PID or how to get around the PID question
to submit a question to Support?

Outlook Connector-> About Outlook Connector
I'm not sure if that PID is excepted as currently the support site has some
issues.

Roady,
I don't understand your answer "not sure if that PID is excepted (sic)...".
My problem is that the I can't find a PID to enter and Support will not allow
you to go any further until you enter a PID. I looked at the web sites you
listed and they are no help in this case. Do you know how to find Outolook
Connector's PID? Any further suggestions?

As I said; in Outlook, choose Outlook Connector-> About Outlook Connector
In the dialog that pop-up is your PID.

However, I've just tried it and that PID is not accepted (sorry for my
previous spelling error; I'm not a native speaker). What you can do is
starting a paid support request. You won't be charged until after the
incident has been solved. As they will realize (or you'll point that out to
them) that you are entitled to free support, the support costs will be
waived.

Now I understand your answer - if your previous reply had said go to
"Outlook/Outlook Connector/About Outlook Connector" I could have followed the
process, but the instruction to go to Outlook Connector/About Outlook
Connector had me looking for the Outlook Connector program in Programs and
trying to find the PID - which didn't work. Thanks for the advice. I will go
from here, no further reply needed.
