Outlook contacts/addresses

After I have typed the first 3 letters of the contact to
whom I wish to send an email, Outlook suggests names based
on previously sent emails and/or contacts in my address
books. However if I have changed or deleted an email
address in my Contacts address book, Outlook still
suggests the old email contact address. Presumably
Outlook has cached these contacts somewhere. My question
is, how do I get Outlook to only suggest contact email
addresses, currently in my address books, and NOT one's
that used to be there, but are now updated or removed?

AutoComplete in Outlook 2002 works against addresses you've already
typed in -- it doesn't work against your Contacts list (you can resolve
addresses you type against your Contacts by pressing CTRL-K). To delete
an incorrect AutoComplete entry, being typing the address into the To
box, and when the bad entry pops up, highlight it with your mouse
pointer and press Delete. If you want to clear the entire cache at
once, search your drive for a file with an .NK2 extension and delete it.
If you're using Windows 2000 or XP, you'll need to search in hidden and
system folders to find the .NK2 file.
