outlook contacts are blank when received

Does anybody know why it is that when i send outlook contacts as an
attachment, when the recipient opens it up, it is blank? Please help urgently
as this is driving my boss crazy and in turn he is driving me crazy with it!
I know how to send vcards but he wants to be able to send them as attachments
which is much quicker and easier when you are writing an email?

try creating a new profile in outlook and configure your account in that and
then send the contact.. Do you have the same problem.?

Assuming you are using Outlook 2003, having no problem sending email, and
are trying to send contact(s) to people using Outlook, try this: In the
contact folder, select the contact(s) you want to send and right-click one of
the selected contacts. Select forward from the short-cut menu which will open
a new message form with the contacts attached. Type your message and send. If
you are sending to people who do not use Outlook you use Vcards.
