Outlook contacts cannot completely sync with my WM5 PPC

I have this problem for a while but didn't have time to deal with it and its
very frustrating. Until this week, I had spent 3 days to look for solution
and almost tried everything except reinstall XP but still cannot solve the
problem.

Background info:

- outlook 2003 with all the updates (office 2003 SP2)
- I have about 5 categories in contacts list and about 150 records
- XP SP2
- Activesync 4.2
- HP smartphone rw6828 with WM5

Problem:

I have about 150 contacts but it will only sync about 50 of them.

Things that I had tried:

- completely uninstall office2003, delete outlook profile, delete activesync
4.2 partnership and then resintall everything back.

- create a brand new PST file and import everything to the new file. The PST
file size is about 900Mb.

- Detect and repair Office 2003

- complete hard reset my PPC to factory default and re-sync to outlook 2003.

- tried Activesync 4.5 Beta

BUT NONE OF THESE FIX IT!
*******************************

Something it works with my outlook2003:

- Outlook 2003 works with my another PPC (with WM2003 2nd Ed)
- Outlook 2003 works with my iPOD nano. I can get the complete contacts into
my iPOD.
- My WM5 PPC works with Outlook 2002 that come with my PPC installation CD.
- If I installed PocketMirror 2.1.6 for WM PPC, then Outlook 2003 works. But
I don't wanna spend extra $50 for fixing the outlook bugs.

I found many people having this problem. But some solved except me:

I am still cannot fix it. Please someone help.

Thanks.

Since this works with other PPCs, I suggest you post in
microsoft.public.pocketpc and/or m.p.pocketpc.activesync, as it doesn't
appear to be an Outlook isssue.

But it will only work with the older version of PPC (i.e. WM2003 2nd Ed) and
not the WM5.
Anyway, I posted in pocketpc.activesync too.

Thanks.

I have a feeling that you're actually syncing everything, but you have on
your display some sort of active filter on the ppc. You should check this,
and make sure that you want to see "everything."
