Outlook Contacts - "unable to display folder"

my main contacts list won't show - it's still accessible
for addressing emails, and individual contacts show when I
press properties from the email address in an email. So
it's all there, it just won't show!

Your Outlook version would be helpful as well.

I've got the Office 2000 version of Outlook, and it won't
show on the "Microsoft Outlook" Screen when I click
Contacts on the Outlook Shortcuts Bar, or off the Folder
list.

Try starting Outlook once with the /cleanviews command line switch. This
switch (and a few other really helpful ones) are discussed here:
