Outlook Contacts

Is it possible to import contacts from outlook 2000
to '97? When I follow the importing steps '97 does not
seem to recognize the file from 2000

Yes it's possible.
List the steps you are using and what happens. You've given us no
information that would allow us to help.
Also state whether you are running against Exchange Server or using a local
information store (Personal Folders File).
