Outlook Contacts

My boss has asked for help with his outlook contacts. When he goes to his
contacts he actually has two folders. One of these folders is empty while
one has all the data. He would like to get rid of the second, empty icon

Where does he see this "empty" icon? What window? What version of Outlook?

He should be able to right click the folder, then choose Delete.

Hi Brian,

Thanks for the response. He is seeing this in the Navigation Pane of
outlook under contacts. He is running Office 2003

Is the folder located in a different mailbox or PST file? I wonder if he
gets the option if he first switches to the store.
