Outlook Contacts

I have Outlook 2002 on one pc and Outlook 2000 on
another. When I hit the To: button to send a message I
want to be able to type in part of the contact name and
have Outlook find the name for me. I can do this in
Office XP but not Outlook 2000. Is there a setting that I
can change so that it will find the contact name for me
if I start typing it?

Thanks,

Jay

No, autocomplete was added to Office XP but not Office 2000.

Solution:
When I try to select a contacts folder in the Address Book dialog box,
I get a message.

The contacts folder might have been deleted. Or, if the contacts
folder is shared, you may no longer have permission to use it.

If this is the case, ask the owner of the folder for permission, and
then set up the folder in the Address Book (Address Book: The
collection of address books that you can use to store names, e-mail
addresses, fax numbers, and distribution lists. The Address Book may
contain a Global Address List, an Outlook Address Book, and a Personal
Address Book.) again.

If you determine that the contacts folder does not exist or that you
cannot get permission to use it, you can remove the folder from the
Address Book.

How?

On the Tools menu, click E-mail Accounts.
Under Directory, select View or change existing directories or address
books, and then click Next.
Click the address book you want to delete.
Click Remove.
Click Finish.
Restart Outlook
