(using Outlook 2003 with SP3 on Windows XP Professional)
Every second or third time I exit Outloook the program crashes. The error
signature is:
AppName: outlook.exe
AppVer: 11.0.8169.0
AppStamp: 465f28e3
ModName: mso.dll
ModVer: 11.0.8172.0
ModStamp: 46771b00
fDebug: 0
Offset: 000cbd04
The Event Viewer isn't very helpful. It says:
The description for Event ID ( 1000 ) in Source ( Microsoft Office 11 )
cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry
information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer.
You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see
Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event:
outlook.exe, 11.0.8169.0, 465f28e3, mso.dll, 11.0.8172.0, 46771b00, 0,
000cbd04.
The only time the error occurs is when I close Outlook. No errors with Word
or other Office programs. As I said, I have intalled SP3 for Office and am up
to date on updates for both Windows and Office.
Any idea what is going on here and, more important, how I can stop this
behavior?
Thanks,
pjs
