I am using Outlook 2002, PC is running XP Pro and is set up with two user
accounts - myself and wife.
If I open her account after opening or using mine and start outlook then the
following (below) dialogue box appears and I have to abort (Debug don't work
it seems).
If I then start outlook again it works fine.
=== Error Message ===
Microsoft Visual C++ Debug Library (Window title)
Debug Error
Program: C:\PROGRA~1\MICROS~2\Office10\OUTLOOK.EXE
abnormal program termination
(Press Retry to debug this application)
[Abort][Retry][Ignore]
======
Retry and Ignore do not work, abort does.
If I then switch back to my account and start outlook I will get the same
error message, but again it will work fine on second time of clicking...
Same thing happens if I were to start from my wife's account and switch to
mine.
Once have restarted application Outlook is happy to run in both accounts.
No other issues, mail send receive etc all ok...
On restarting PC and open Outlook in 'the other account' to when last opened
I get the same error..
Does anyone have any Ideas? All seems to work well on the second attempt,
just darned annoying and concerned if this the indication of worse to come?
PC is fully patched (OS and Office), running NAV 2004 Pro - fully up to
date, and Adaware finds nothing except cookies...
Over to you guys ( and Gals ), thanks for any help and ideas,
