Outlook crashes on start-up

W

wretched

I am running Vista home basic with Microsoft Office Ultimate 2007. The other
programs are working, although I have had to re-install to get Groove to
work. When I first started Outlook it would run the installation and
configuration windows for an exceedingly long time. Clicking on business
contact manager caused it to freeze. Now if I even attempt to open it I just
get a pop up that says "This application failed to start because MSVCR80.dll
was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem". It
didn't.

I haven't even configured an email account to it yet.

What should I do?
