Outlook crashes when adding someone to a calendar appointment

When users within our organisation adds a certain person to a meeting and
then checks his availability it crashes the meeting organisers Outlook.
Rebuilding the mail profile of the person being added to the meeting fixes
the problem briefly but it re-occurs.
We use Outlook 2003 and Exchange 2003.
