Outlook Crashes

I have a question on some outlook setting or config problem that has the
Outlook 2003 application crashing, sending an error message to MS and
restarting. To accomplish this feat, all I have to do is enter a typed
character into the TO: field of the email address text box. Does anyone have
any ideas on this problem.

Don't type anything and choose Detect & Repair from the Help drop down menu.

Mr. Davis,
I had tried Detect and Repair from the main outlook screen, but that did not
work. I just tried your suggestion opening a new message and trying detect
and repair from the new message screen. That didn't work either. I have
looked into either spyware, contact/address book, reinstalling Outlook and
detect/repair solutions. None of these have even hinted at working. I have
not created other problems and I have not seen seen a change in the original
problem. This is very odd and frustrating. Would a format and reinstall of
the OS be a cop out or does anyone have any other suggestions.

Thanks, Jeremy
