I have an end user who is working off of a new laptop running xp sp
with office 2007, all fully patched. The server is exchange 2007 o
windows 2008. This is the second laptop for him and it has been rebuil
from scratch once.
Outlook regularly crashes for him when new mail arrives. The onl
thing he does different from other users in the environment is to us
categories to organize his email.
The event log is event 1000 and is a variation of this content
Faulting application outlook.exe, version 12.0.6514.5000, stam
4a89dc70, faulting module mso.dll, version 12.0.6425.1000, stam
49d65443, debug? 0, fault address 0x00005ae0.
and/or

lasted 4575 seconds with 1200 seconds of active time. This sessio
ended with a crash.
His mailbox is large, 9 GB, but certainly not close to the largest. H
normally runs cached but we have tried turning off the cache with n
luck.
Most recently we gave him a new AD account with associated new SID. H
is using a new mailbox which is empty. Outlook ran a couple of days bu
is now crashing again. Currently no additional apps are installed bu
symantec AV and no add-ins in outlook or IE.
