Outlook Custom Forms and Size of the Attachment View

Hi,

I have been developing some outlook custom forms and while i have managed
to fudge my way through most of it I have a problem where when attachments
are added to the form the attachments view doesent seem to be resizable.

It appears that I need the main mail field on the form for attachments to
work at all but once that is on the form outlook determines what portion of
that should be used to display the attachments, on both the compose and read
views.

In our instance this is a very wide but short window with two tiny
scrollbars which isnt really what were after. Does anyone know how one can
convince outlook to spend more screen space showing attachments?

thanks very much in advance for any help

ps i did post this in office.outlook.generalquestions but i believe that
isnt managed so am posting here too, sorry if anyone sees a dupe.

Hi,

I understand that you want to design a Outlook custom form project.
But this newsgroup is primarily for issues involving how to use Office
Application Object Modal to do some manually job programming.
For this Please post this question in the newsgroup below.
We recommend posting appropriately so you will get the most qualified pool
of respondents, and so other communities who regularly read the newsgroups
can either share their knowledge or learn from your interaction with
community.

microsoft.public.outlook.program_forms

However, this queue is not a MSDN managed queue yet. So if the issue is
urgent for you, I think the best way is to use one of your MSDN subscriber
free support incident to contact our customer support service. There will
be one support engineer working specially with you on it. Please visit the
following page for how to submit it:

If you have any more concerns, please feel free to post here. Thanks very
much for your understanding.

Best regards,

Peter Huang

I kind of assumed that programming the outlook model via the vb code in
outlook custom forms fell into the category of Office development and I was
using a subset of the Office model when working with outlook. I did spend a
while trying to find an appropriate managed forum before posting.

Is there any managed form that covers outlook development as opposed to
office development?

I will raise a support incident if i have to, was just hoping someone,
somewhere, knew about this.

thanks for the reply.

Hi,

Based on my keep searching, I finding another unmanaged newsgroup for your
reference.
microsoft.public.office.developer.outlook.forms

Also you may try to submit your feedback by logging into the MSDN subscribe
website and then click "Managed Newsgroup" and then click "Contact Us".

Hope this helps.
