Outlook custom forms in Public folder Exch 2003 outlook 2003

Hi,
A staff member has set up an IN/OUT board as a public folder to keep track
of staff. Its like a roster sheet. (They got the idea from a Microsoft
related website a few years ago). It has tick boxes that they can select to
say they are out of the office. Someone deleted the folder and I restored it
from a PST file. Now they get a message when they click on the box they are
supposed to tick saying "The items contain active content that cannot be
displayed in the reading pane. We have Office 2003 sp2 and exchange 2003.
I restored folder staff member fixed view to display correctly on form but
tick boxes now fail. If they double click the persons name it successfully
opens the form however they like to just tick the box.
thanks

Sounds like users simply need to make sure the reading pane is turned off while viewing this folder. As for the second problem, what are the precise symptoms of "tick boxes now fail."

FYI, there is a newsgroup specifically for Outlook forms issues "down the hall" at microsoft.public.outlook.program_forms or, via web interface, at http://www.microsoft.com/office/com...spx?dg=microsoft.public.outlook.program_forms
