My original computer died with the hard drive being intact. How can I get
copies of data (emails and contacts) in Outlook from the old drive and place
it on the new hard drive?

Copy your .pst file. Ensure searching hidden files/folders when looking for
it. Or simply leave the old drive installed as a slave and reuse the .pst
file from there.

Just wonder if you can still open your old drive data. If not, it seem need
some tools to fix hard disk or being fix by data recovery companies. (then
you can copy .pst from the old hard disk.)
