Outlook default Inserts folder

How do I change the default file for Inserts in Microsoft Outlook? I want to
start the search in the drive/folder I use to store documents which is not
the one that is the current Outlook default?

You would receive better support by posting to one of the Outlook
newsgroups. This newsgroup, as it is named, supports the OneNote program
only. When you post over there, please indicate which version of Outlook
you're running and on what operating system.
