Outlook demands new version

I use Outlook 2000 to manage contacts and events on my smartphone. When
I start Outlook an error message demands to install Outlook Express 4.01
or a more recent version to be installed. I already installed OE 6 last
week. After clicking on OK Outlook 2000 starts.

How can I get this annoying error message get away ?
