Some of our mail signatures, which have the corporate logo imbedded, linked
from a web file as http://source.server/imagename.jpg, fail to display at
least one signature graphic in a given e-mail. Generally a new mail sent to
any recipient displays the graphic properly, but any reply from someone with
the same graphic in their signature does not. In such a reply, the NEW copy
of the picture (associated with the replying user) does not show up, while
the original does.
Even better would be if HTML signature graphics would work through Word as
an e-mail editor, since we have several users who prefer the formatting
options, but I suppose that's wishful thinking.
We're running a combination of Outlook 2003/2007 with an Exchange 2007 server.
I've seen extensive lineups of people with similar issues, but no solutions.
How can I change the behavior of Outlook (or Exchange, if it rests with the
server) to prevent this re-writing of HTML tags?
