Outlook does not receive or send mail

I configured my Outlook 2003 the same as my Outlook express that has
been running successfully for years. I can create mail and it
remains in the outbox even after send/receive button is pushed.
No error message at all. Just no action and when I close it I do get
told that there are messages waiting to be sent.

Try change the current view (folder).
