Outlook does not start with Outlook Today

I am using Outlook 2003. I have it set to go directly to Outlook Today upon
starting Outlook, but lately it will sometimes go directly to my inbox, or it
will quickly flash the Outlook Today screen and then go right to the inbox.
Sometimes it will actually go to Outlook Today and stay there, but not
always. Any ideas?
