outlook does not work with verizon pc card

Installed pc card and outlook not receiving or sending emails. Changed to
modem and broadman in properties.

It swill if its properly configured. (I use it all the time.) Do you have
outlook authenticating with your email sever? Not all SMTP severs will allow
you to send -but most should if correctly configured.

Gloria - just went thru the setup drill using Verizons service and will
try to assist but will need more info than you've provided. A few
questions.

#1 - What type of Verizon service do you have. Did it come with a setup
disk? What's the disc jacket say on it, as to a description on what
the software actually is.

#2 - When you plug in your Verizon card, can you verify you're actively
attached to the Verizon wireless network. Forget about email
operations, when you've got your wireless card in, you can open a web
broswer and browse internet web sites?

#3 - How are you using Outlook. Do you use this same pc (the one w/
your wireless card) on a company network, where you use this same
Outlook to check company email? If so, Outlook works for you when on
the company network?

Let's start with these questions, before digging deeper - May need to
ultimately send you to Verizon support, not sure at this point -
