Outlook doesn't remember my password

The problem I am having is that every time I close out of
Outlook it erases my password despite the fact that I
have checked off the "remember my password" box. So in
order for me to retrieve my emails I have to go to tools,
email accounts, veiw change existing accounts, change and
add my password again.

Can someone help me with this issue?
