Outlook doesn't send me the receipts from mail recipeints

Outlook has an option to request a read receipt and a delivery receipt.
Recipients of my emails do get the requests and respond to them, but I never
get the responses. So I don’t know if they actually received the emails, and
if applicable , read them. I use cable and when I used DSL this wasn’t a
problem. Is cable the cause? (The server says its not)

Other ideas? Ways to remedy?

Aloha aAlia,

Receipts are always going to be a hit or miss proposition. Not all mail
clients support them and not all mail servers support them. So I wouldn't
rely upon them for much.

Thanks so much. I guess my server doesn't suport them, although they are
unaware of tht, i spoke iwth them first. Appreciate your help.

It might not be your mail server. It might be the other person's server.
Or both. Hard to say.
