outlook doesnt store passwords

I have been trying to work around the problem that outlook
doesnt store my passwords for email accounts.
I have done the obvious : checking of box "remember
password"

I also tried to delete the subkey in the registry for the
email account (was written on some windows page), but i
couldnt delete the entry, even though i had full admin
rights.

Any other suggestions? It is driving me crazy...

Additional information: my computer also seems to have
trouble remember the passwords for forms in Internet
Explorer. Also there i have enabled auto fill in, and
remember pwd's.

Any help is greatly appreciated,
