So, after tooling around these fora, it looks like a lot of people are seeing duplicate calendar events in ENTOURAGE. Well, I use Entourage, but my secretary uses Outlook on a PC so that she can add things to my calendar. Suddenly this morning, almost all of my calendar events IN OUTLOOK had 6-14 duplicates. They still only show up as a single occurrence in Entourage, both in the "normal" calendar view and the "all calendar" list. When I looked in Outlook Web Access myself, I also see duplicates. It doesn't seem to matter whether it's a repeating event or a non-repeating event; it doesn't matter whether a category is assigned or not.
In addition, ONE of these duplicates in Outlook corresponds to the one single time it occurs in Entourage. And it's not the same one: sometimes it's the first of the duplicates, sometimes it's the middle, sometimes the one at the end. So I can't just delete the duplicates in Outlook because I can't know which one to keep without deleting it in Entourage. It's crazy.
So, Outlook and Outlook Web Access see 6-14 duplicates of calendar items entered before yesterday. Entourage only sees single events. And I don't know how to get rid of duplicates in Outlook since deleting the wrong one then deletes the single event in Entourage, and then doesn't re-sync with the one that's left in Outlook.
Thoughts, anyone?
