Outlook duplicate messages being sent!

I have a client who started receiving multiple duplicate messages from me.
I'm talking almost 50 duplicates from each messege I send him. I can't see
anything from my end. There is only one message in my "sent folder" and my
out box is totally clear. All messages he receives have the same "sent
time." eventhough these messages are coming in at different times. 1.) What
is causing this and 2.) Is there a way I can stop this? He is still being
bombarded by emails I sent yesterday and is getting impatient. My ISP said
my server looks fine.

I have outlook 2003 and am on XP pro operating system and office pro.

PS. I did just get a system delivery failure message saying these messages
weren't delivered. But obviously they were. any help?

1) Disable any scanning of mail, especially the outgoing mail, with your
antivirus scanner. You don't need to scan mail.
2) Lengthen your account's server timeout value (on the Advanced tab of the
account properties).
3) Lengthen the send/receive interval so that it is no less than ten
minutes.

Thanks Brian, I will try this. It is wierd because I have been emailing back
and forth with this client for a couple years and all of a sudden this
started happening yesterday...

I'll let you know the result. Thanks for the suggestions...

It's possible if you scan mail and if your AV program updated itself
yesterday that it could start happening.
