Outlook dynamic search

I think that Outlook should dynamically search as you type when you search.
This functionality would be very useful especially in the advanced search,
but also in the normal basic search function.
Also, searching isn't perfect as it is. Myself and many other users have
had the problem where the search doesn't return all of the results it should
have (by searching the from field).

My Outlook 2007 no longer allows me to search my inbox at all. If i type in
a name, word, anything, it simply returns the error "outlook is unable to
perform this search" and the search area turns a lovely orange/red color.
Visually I'm impressed, but its not so helpful for searching.

any ideas?

Yep. Could that be causing the problem? The search function in Outlook was
working initially, but then after like 2 weeks it gave up. Very confused.

You could rebuild your index via Control Panel, Indexing Service,
Advanced, Rebuild.
That might help.
