Outlook e-mail - unable to see emails in box I have editor permiss

I have editor permission for two of my bosses's Inbox, Sent box and other
assorted items. However, it seems that with regard to emails from one
specific person, those emails cannot be seen by anyone with editor
permission. To explain - "A" sent an email to "B", copying "C". I can see
both "B" and "C"'s inboxes, and have editor permission so I can send from
them as well. B has editor permission of C's inbox, too. However, I cannot
see A's message; and whilst B can see the message in his inbox, he cannot see
it in C's inbox, even though he can see from the message that's been copied
to C. This only seems to be happening with email from one specific person.

Could this be as a result of some sort of restrictive permission that the
sender has put on their emails (possibly without realising it)?

Does the sender mark the emails as Confidential or Private?

Check their Rules and settings.

Judy,

Thanks - that's exactly it. I had to go to where the email shows up to
check the settings on it, but it's marked as "private" - so that explains it.

So simple I feel quite silly now! Thanks much!
