Outlook email no longer works

I am using outlook 2007. At first the email was working fine, but all pf a
sudden it quit. I can no longer send and recive. I am now usung Outlook
express which is workins ait should. Same provider account. Why?

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

The error message reads "Receiving reported error (0x8004210A). The operation
timed out waiting for response from the receiving POP server". Out express
using the same account works fine.
