outlook email send error 0x8004010F object missing

I am getting send error messages in outlook - "Task 'pop earthlink.net
sending' reported error (0x8004010F) : 'the operation failed. An object could
not be found' "

So far all I can find on the internet have to do with Exchange.

I dont have a program called Exchange.

How do I fix this??
