Outlook Email Signature Image Hyperlink Subdomain

I am attempting to add a hyperlink to an image within an Outlook 2007 Email
Signature that includes a subdomain. When I complete this task, the
hyperlink is correct within the signature. However, when I create a new mail
the same image within the newly created mail does not link to the saved
hyperlink with a subdomain.

Example:
Saved Signature Image: subdomain.sampleurl.com
New Mail Signature Image (same image): www.sampleurl.com

Thinking that the saved signature image would not apply until Outlook had
been closed and restarted, I restarted Outlook to find the same result in my
signature.
