outlook email swaps Incoming mail server for localhost

Bod

Hi! My Outlook 2003 keeps changing my entry in the email settings field
"Incoming mail server (pop3)" to "localhost" and appending my entry to the
username field.
How can I get it to leave it as I input it?

You'd have to remove the anti-virus or anti-spam program that apparently is acting as a local POP3 server after it downloads your messages from your real mail server's Inbox. I suspect you'll want to leave things the way they are.
