I can get my shawmail from outlook express, I get my hotmail at there site
and my setup has been checked and checked again but outlook will not send or
recieve it says it cannot find the server. How can this be, all the other
email systems can find the server?

Without giving your version of Outlook & exact err msg, difficult to say.
I assume your shawmail ISP is pop mail? and you entered the account info as
detailed in their help pages
Hotmail wont neccessarily work in Outlook, without special configeration
