Outlook emails moved to Top of Information Store

Hi All,

I have a user who moved emails from our Public Folder into his root (Outlook
Today) folder. Whenever he clicks on the root the emails do not show. Is
there a way to retrieve the emails? He did a search and was able to find it
and the location specifies "Top of Information Store." Is there a setting
within the view which would allow us to move/copy the emails? Thanks for any
advice/help.

Right click on Outlook Today and select Advanced Find. Set the search
criteria for mail items. Once found, drag them from OT to a mail folder,
perhaps one that you want to create to hold these mails.

Alternatively to what Milly suggests, right-click the folder root (Outlook
Today) and choose Properties. Select the Home Page tab and uncheck the box
labeled "Show home page by default for this folder". Click OK. Now click
on the root again. INstead of the Outlook Today page, you'll see the
contents, which should include the messages mistakenly filed there. Move
them to where you'd like, then go restore the check box.
