I am using Outlook 2002 SP3, on Windows XP Home edition.
Whenever I use external links (from any application) to outlook items of the
form "outlook:<entryID>" while Outlook is not running and then close the item
(such as a contact or message) and then later launch outlook, the "Folder
List" is no longer shown, and the "Outlook Bar" appears. It is as if using
this type of link screws-up the custom layout that I set in outlook.
I then have to "Hide Outlook Bar" and "View > Folder List" every time I use
this method to access outlook items.
Has anyone else experience this?
Is there a way to solve this problem?
