Outlook error message 0x80078. Meaning?

Trying to send message with my wife as sender. Get error message:

!Task 'Mickie -Sending' Reported error (0x800CCC78): 'Unable to send the
message. Please verify the e-mail address in yoiur account properties. The
server responded: 550 5.7.1 Authentication Required'

Have no idea what any of above means or where or how I can correct it.
