Outlook Error Message

When opening Outlook I receive the following error message:
C:Windows\Application Data\Microsoft\AddIns\C:\Program
Files\Microsoft Office\Office\sbcmsync.dll' is not a valid
office add-in.

Anyone have any suggestions as to why I am receiving this
error message and what I can do to fix and/or simply get
rid of it?

Thanks, this was a big help. The extend.dat instructions didn't help get rid of the error message. Only when I went into regedit and remove the file did it help.
