Outlook error

My computer just updated Mocrosoft critical updated from July 11, 2008. Now
I can't send and receive email from Outlook 2007. ISP AT&T formerly SBC. If
I unistall this round of updates I can send and receive. Is Microsfoft
revising this update to correct this problem

I had Outlook 2003 and did the same update. It replaced 2003 with Outlook
Express 6 and removed all my files, emails, and addresses. Did you lose
everything too? I am still trying to find out how to recover the lost data.

I did not lose any data just can't connect to my ISP

Um, no it didn't. You're interpreting it that way, but that doesn't make it
true.

Did you lose everything too? I am still trying to find out how to
recover the lost data.

Click Start>All Programs>Microsoft Office>Microsoft Office Outlook. You
should see wverything you had before. The only thing that changed was the
shortcut at the top of the Start dialogue. If you want it back to the way
it was, click Start, then right-click on the blue part of the menu and
choose Properties. Click Customize and change the bottom drop-down to
"Microsoft Office Outlook".

Are you using a Connect Point firewall, i.e., ZoneAlarm?

No
not using a connect point firewall. Spoke to my ISP who told me they did
sone research and it is a result of the update from July 11, 2008. If I
uninstall these updates I can sned and receive
