A message from a particular user regarding a particular subject with a
table in the body crashes OL 2007 when we try to close the message.
The message also takes quite a bit of time getting from one recipient
to the next and loads very slowly. Other messages from this user do
not misbehave.
I imagine he's copying the data and pasting into the email and
speculate that there are links that may be causing this issue. I am
open to any other possibilities.
1. How can I view/edit/break links in OL 2007 messages? (Prior to
opening)
2. a. Is there a way to open a particular message in plain text
without changing settings for all messages?
b. Can a rule be set up to open messages from this user as plain text?
3. How can this email be opened without allowing the offending
actions? Holding the shift key doesn't help.
I know that we could set up all messages to come in as plain text,
then add trusted sources to open in html - is there a way to kind of
reverse this - open all messages in html except from a particular user
(and/or other conditions)? Any working script would be greatly
appreciated.
Unfortunately, this issue must be addressed on the receiving end
without losing functionality for all other messages.
Thanks!
