outlook exchange and rules

DIDI

hi this apply to msexchange2003 and outlook2003.
i have a user that has 4 diferent smtp adresses like
[email protected]...
i've created rules in outlook that filters the incoming by keyword in the
recipients email adress and are redirected to publics folders.
The problem i have is that exchange redirect on the user name and therefore
all the mails are not sorted out and the rule does'nt work.
Maybe it is not possible to do that within an exchange ad environment.??
I know that it works with pop3 email accounts.
Any suggestions or solutions welcome
thx in advance for the interest in my post

are you the admin? do the messages have the to address in the header? if
they do you can filter on words in the header but if not, get SMTP script
from vamsoft.com and install it on your smtp - it will add an x-header with
the address so words in the header rule will work (even on BCCs).

http://www.vamsoft.com/orf/tools.asp#smtpenvl. This needs to run on the SMTP
gateway for your network and stamps the envelope info in the header.
